If you are in highschool you can sign up for horticulture as a class. You can also sign up for FFA if you are intrested more in the fields of Agriculture or Horticulture. Also if you have a sibling thats has an agriculture class or horticulture you can help them with projects like Sae's or projects. If you are a graduate from highschool you can still be in invloved in Horticulture they have colleges that specialize in those type of chosen carreer fields. Hopefully i do the same and still be apart of Ag & Horticulture when im a freshman in college :)
Some ways that you can be involved in horticulture is by planting flowers in a garden or simply watering them. This is a part of horticulture because you are planting things. Another thing that can be done is joing the FFA and be involved in agriculture at your school. You can even plant flowers or plants at your community library or volunteer at a garden. That would also be involving yourself in horticulture.
