That is true. The GMO and chemicals added in our food sources causes illnesses and disease outbreaks and it is not safe. the government is not keeping us safe because he is allowing all of these unhealthy chemicals to be added into our food.

Different strawberries taste different ways. It is most likely that the strawberries you are speaking of are actually imported. As for the government not caring you do not know this personally, to be in the government you need to be a citizen of America and through doing this you become connected to the United States. Now if you had a home would you burn it down? If not well America is like their house they wouldn't intentionally burn it down.
I think they are doing enough. They encourage organic production and recognition, and have a substantial amount of laws concerning them. What other roles could they play in food production?
they are not doing enough, if they were then we would not be having the problems that we are having now with food sources. they are just looking at the economic side of this not the health of the people.
The United States imports a majority of it's food source and continues to develop what could be great farm land. Because of this I believe if we continue down this path we would not be able to secure a food source but if we are talking about the present we still have enough land to self sustain.

I think the government is doing their best to protect the people from getting harm by the food source we consume. Every food has to be analyzed by USFDA before is sold to companies. But the food contains pesticides the farmer used to protect the crop from bugs and diseases. mirna farias

i don't think our government is doing enough to protect our food because they support corporations more due to them being powerful and influential when it comes to elections and bills that get voted on. I don't thinnk our government is doing enough to protect our foods because most of them only care about how much money they're making and the companies are making a lot of money despite the fact that it could be very unhealthy.
